Most invoice generators assume you're either a freelancer doing one job, or an agency running dozens of clients. Rarely both.

So this tool has two modes on the exact same data. Simple mode is a single screen: From, Bill To, invoice details, line items, tax/discount/shipping, notes, total — fill it in top to bottom and download a PDF. No dashboard, no saved list, nothing to learn. It's built to feel like the classic one-off invoice generators people have used for years.

Click Preview at any point and it opens a full invoice preview in a modal, matching the PDF almost exactly, so there's no guessing what the client will actually receive.

Advanced mode: for when it's not just one invoice

Toggle to Advanced and the same invoice you were just editing is already sitting in a saved list — nothing is lost, nothing is duplicated. What Advanced adds on top:

A dashboard — total invoiced, total paid, and outstanding balance across every invoice, correctly split out if you bill in more than one currency instead of silently adding dollars to euros.
Status tracking — draft, sent, paid, or overdue, shown per invoice in a sortable list, with an invoice auto-flagged overdue once its due date passes.
A client address book and item catalog — save a client or a recurring line item once, reuse it on every future invoice instead of retyping it.
Partial payments — log a deposit or installment against an invoice and the balance updates automatically.
Multiple business profiles — useful if you invoice under more than one business name or entity.
Backup and export — a full JSON backup of everything (invoices, clients, catalog) you can restore from later, plus a CSV export for your own records or accountant.

Three templates, your choice of accent color

Minimal, Professional, and Modern — pick per invoice, not once for every invoice you'll ever send. Whatever you choose renders identically in the live preview and the final PDF, and an accent color picker lets you match your own branding instead of a generic default blue.

Everything autosaves to your browser as you type — close the tab, come back tomorrow, your draft is exactly where you left it. No account, no cloud sync, no server ever sees your client data.
